And the travel planning begins…
After forgetting to bring my A to Z and following my sisters sense of direction (right being left and left being right) leading us in some odd directions we made the appointment at the Commonwealth Secretariat just a few minutes late. Waiting in receptions having signed in we we invited to have a look around and take in the general splendor of the building, Tapestries that belong to the Queen hung on the walls the ceilings painted in great detail and the cornicing dripping in gold leaf.
The meeting with Fatimah went well, despite me being rather nervous. i think she actually ended up asking Katy more questions about her current course than she did me! I got all my questions answered, but not all of them in detail think something’s are better left to explore when i get there! We decided upon the 15th of August for the date of my departure and more contacts and things for me to do. My contract is going to be drawn up and soon i will be fully contracted in my first job, doesn’t really feel like a job though, I’m just going back to what I really love, exploring!
anyway next to do, visa applications, packing, updates and goodbyes!
