Millie goes a fishing
This week Millie and i decided to explore a bit more of our local area, and so at the recommendation of a friend of ours we trekked up to Midgeholme (the next village up from where we live) and found a fantastic river hidden away.
Millie’s energy seems to be growing everyday, and so taking her swimming in a nice cold river seemed like a good idea to burn off some energy

then she began splashing up and down the river and getting more and more excited the more she splashed about

Then she decided to start biting the water that she was splashing about, not fully aware that there were deeper bits...

Then we reached my favourite section of the river a very deep plunge pool deep enough to swim in. As it turns out it was the only part that Millie decided that she didn't want to swim in, maybe because neither of us could see the bottom...
I think this is going to become one of my favourite spots to go walking in, it was such a peaceful place to be, oh the advantages of living in the middle of the countryside!
Before I leave please forgive the infrequent posts of late, I’m trying to organise things for the wedding and organise the house work Thomas and I are having done at the moment, Things will return to normal soon enough!

Claire, I love this post! I’m very jealous of your walk, it looks so pretty. I also love the second picture of Mille, it reminds me of pictures of me running around. Shes got sooo big now! I can’t wait to come up again and see her, and of course you! Love xxx
